ingredients: 3/4 cup butter
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp almond essence
2 cups flour
1/2 cup ground almond
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg white, slightly beaten, for dipping crushed alonds to decorate
1. place butter, egg yolk, sugar and almond essence and mix. Add
flour, ground almonds and salt
2. chill the dough for an hour, breakoff, form into a ring and dip in egg white.
3. sprinkle with crushed almonds, bake for 175c/350f until golden.
note: kita amik dari buku chef wan. plan nak buat ni and at the same
time recipe yang sama, cuma replace almond with cashew nuts, hehehe. I
like simple recipe.
